Last year, Bindi shared a photo of her and Steve sitting on a boat with flashlights strapped to their heads. They were hunting crocodiles, and Bindi had a small one in her hands.
"Grandpa Crocodile, I know you would've been the most incredible grandfather because you were such an extraordinary dad," Bindi gushed. Bindi is a proud mom to her daughter, Grace Warrior.
Steve's only son, Robert, also made sure to pay tribute to his father on Steve Irwin Day. Like many others, he believes that his old man "changed the world forever" and continues to inspire generations despite his absence.
Steve Irwin tragically passed away while filming content on the coast of Port Douglas. They swam near a usually harmless stingray, which unexpectedly raised its tail and struck Irwin on the chest.
Irwin's death stunned the world and changed the course of his family's lives forever. Despite his absence, the Irwin family keeps Steve's legacy alive by continuing his mission.
