Prince Harry took some time off following his solo visit to South Africa earlier this month, where he was engaged in work for his co-founded organization, Sentebale. The 40-year-old attracted online users' attention as he tried out the man-made waves at the Surf Ranch in Lemoore, California.

A video of Prince Harry's session was shared by professional surfing coach Raimana van Bastolaer on Instagram. In the caption, Raimana wrote, "In Tahiti, we still call you Prince Harry, but at Surfranch [sic], it's my brother. It was an honour to have you surf with me & @kellyslater."

The video shows Harry riding the waves at the state-of-the-art wave pool, which was designed by surfing legend Kelly Slater. Surf Ranch is known for its ability to produce controlled, high-quality waves suitable for surfers of all skill levels.

Its central feature is its man-made wave, created by an advanced soliton-generating hydrofoil. This technology produces swells that are remarkably similar to those found in the ocean, with six-foot-high barrels extending over 2,300 feet. They can also be adjusted to suit the surfer's skill level.

Naturally, Harry's adventurous surfing day drew widespread admiration from people online. On Instagram, one fan excitedly commented, "Oh wow!!! This is so cool😃".

Earlier this month, Prince Harry traveled solo to Lesotho, where he took part in celebrations marking the nation's bicentennial anniversary.

His work in the region is closely tied to Sentebale, a charity he co-founded with Prince Seeiso of Lesotho. Sentebale focuses on supporting vulnerable children, particularly those affected by HIV, in Southern Africa.
