Outside of bringing her along with him to industry events, Pedro often proudly boasts about Lux on his social media. One such time saw him post an image of Lux on a Spanish magazine cover.

Pedro has also spoken about Lux in previous interviews. During a discussion with Esquire in 2023, which took place amid a challenging time for trans people, Pedro's protective big brother side came out.

When the interviewer, Dave Holmes, asked the actor about how Lux felt concerning the discrimination and harm the trans community was facing at that time, Pedro immediately replied, "You mean in terms of the pandemic?"

Dave could tell that Pedro knew exactly what was meant by that question, but he abstained from answering it directly. "I'm immediately sorry I asked [...] Can't everyone who isn't straight or cisgender just exist, without having to make a statement?" wondered Dave regarding the moment.

"I wouldn't want to speak on her behalf, but she is and has always been one of the most powerful people and personalities I've ever known. My protective side is lethal, but I need her more than she needs me," disclosed Pedro.

Two years before Pedro's interview with Esquire, Lux conducted an interview with the Spanish magazine Revista Ya, where she spoke about her trans journey and the revamp of her acting career as a woman.

At the time, Lux, who has worked in theater, TV, and starred in international productions, was studying at Juilliard.

Speaking about her former identity as Lucas Balmaceda (translated into English), the actress divulged, "Seeing old photos doesn't make me anxious anymore [...] The same happens with theater: I see someone who was doing what they loved."

She also discussed how her family accepted her transition easily, expressing that it was "almost something they hoped would happen."

Additionally, Lux shone a spotlight on her relationship with Pedro Pascal. "He has been an important part of this. He is also an artist and has been a guide. He was one of the first to give me the things that were identically shaped," shared the actress.
