"There are maybe some trad wives out there doing it because it seems wholesome, but it is not. If you're not picking up horse [expletive] or washing a cow with your bare hands, then that life is not made for you. At all."

However, this peaceful patch of Georgia isn't just a retreat — it's also a refuge for the voiceless. Inside the barn, Millie lovingly cares for rescue dogs saved from local kill shelters, all under the umbrella of Joey's Friends, the animal rescue she founded.

Armed with her studies in human services from Purdue University and training in veterinary science, Millie is now equipped to treat injuries, monitor vitals, and manage records for her growing family of animals.

"Adoption campaigns [on social media] are wonderful temporarily," she explained, "but you really have to get in there and do the work to make a difference."

The couple tied the knot in 2024, but their romance had long been cherished by those closest to them. Jake's father, Jon Bon Jovi, made his admiration clear. "She's fabulous," he beamed. "She's really wonderful and her and Jake are a great couple."
