The pregnancy reveal arrives just over a year after Grainge and her husband celebrated the birth of their first child. She announced the arrival of their daughter with a touching black-and-white image that captured the newborn's tiny feet cradled gently in the loving hands of her parents.

"Eloise Samantha Grainge 🤍5•20•24 best day of my life🤍," captioned the influencer. The post quickly garnered an outpouring of support and congratulations from fans and celebrity friends alike.

But that first pregnancy? It wasn't all smooth sailing behind the glowing filters and picture-perfect posts. In a deeply personal sit-down with her obstetrician, Dr. Thais Aliabadi, and fashion designer Mary Alice Haney, Grainge laid bare the reality behind the scenes.

'You're in Active Labor'... And It Was Only 32 Weeks

"I had a great pregnancy up until about 32 weeks," Grainge began, before sharing how a seemingly ordinary morning turned into a critical turning point.

Experiencing unusual fatigue, back pain, and cramps, she texted her doctor expecting reassurance — but instead, she was urged to see a fetal specialist. "Thank God she said that," Grainge recalled. "They hooked me up to the monitor and they were like, 'You're in active labor' [...] at 32 weeks."

She admitted she thought Dr. Aliabadi would simply "stop it," but instead was immediately sent to Cedars-Sinai for monitoring, where she unexpectedly spent several nights.

"And she was like, 'No, you need to go to Cedars-Sinai and we need to just monitor you and give you some IV fluids.' So what was meant to be just like a few hours actually ended up being like a six-night stay," divulged Grainge. Throughout the interview, Grainge repeatedly expressed appreciation for Dr. Aliabadi's calm and comforting presence.

"Having Dr. A. as a doctor is so assuring [...] She not only comforted me, but my husband," she said. Though the extended hospital stay ended in bed rest and a waiting game, Grainge was able to carry her pregnancy to 38 weeks. "I had a fantastic delivery," she confirmed, noting how the experience — though emotionally draining — ended on a triumphant note.

"I did six weeks [...] of contractions. And I have my beautiful daughter. I'm healthy. I'm safe. She's healthy. She's safe [...] I did it. Goal," shared the mom. But the most harrowing chapter came just after delivery.

A Terrifying Turn After Delivery

Two days postpartum, Grainge felt off. "I blew up like a balloon, quite literally — just swelled," she said, describing intense fatigue and an overwhelming feeling of disassociation. "I felt very ill [...] I'm having conversations, but nothing's home," Grainge recounted. Concerned, Dr. Aliabadi sent a nurse to her house, where her blood pressure was measured at a dangerous 165 over 103.

The diagnosis: postpartum preeclampsia. "The hardest thing I ever had to do, I think literally, was leave my daughter two days postpartum," she expressed. "My poor husband was like, 'I have to get you to the hospital.'"

She was rushed in for a 24-hour emergency stay — a frightening but life-saving intervention. Looking back, Grainge said she remained in constant communication with her doctor throughout the experience.

"I am probably one of her most neurotic patients," she joked, "I texted her every day." Yet beneath the humor lay a profound awareness of how fragile the experience had been. "It was so up in the air," Grainge admitted. "It was intense."

'EXCUSE ME TWINS??': Fans Spiral over That One Mysterious Phrase in Sofia Richie Grainge's Post

Following her recent pregnancy reveal, it didn't take long for her followers to flood the comment section with a mix of congratulatory messages, confusion, and curiosity. While many expressed joy over the news, it was the wording of her caption that set off a flurry of speculation.

"Wait.. TWINS?!" one commenter exclaimed, a sentiment echoed across the thread. "Babies? There's [sic] 2?" another asked, while someone else noted, "Wait are they twins bc she said these babies. [sic]." A fellow spectator, clearly stunned, reacted, "EXCUSE ME TWINS ?????😢."

The double mention continued to spark theories among fans trying to decode her words. "babies? as in two [sic]?!!" one person questioned, while another pointed out, "These babies 👀👀."

However, not everyone interpreted the caption in the same way. A few followers offered their own explanations to temper the twin rumors. "I think when she says babies [sic] she means 1 baby + her brand as the other 'baby' — maybe 🤷🏻‍♀️ congratulations though!! ❤️❤️," theorized one fan.

"I think she meant that one baby is her brand and the other is an actual baby. Not that she was having twins lol [sic] congrats!" opined someone else. Of course, some admirers chose to focus on the excitement alone. "NUMBER 2 ON THE WAY," one person wrote enthusiastically — a nod to the growing Grainge family.

From Tabloid Fodder to Empowered Mother

Years before the motherhood era, Grainge was already no stranger to headlines — especially during her high-profile romance with Scott Disick, which she candidly addressed in a 2018 interview while promoting a fashion collaboration in Australia.

At just 20, she described their connection as rooted in friendship, telling reporters, "We are very happy, very lovey dovey. We are best friends and [sic] that is mainly the strongest connection we have."

Despite persistent media scrutiny — from tabloid takes on their 15-year age gap to rumors of family disapproval — Grainge remained unfazed, dismissing the gossip as "so false."

In that same interview, she also opened up about carving her own path, expressing dreams of becoming a designer while acknowledging the weight of her famous last name. "I have to try and find my own way," she said at the time.
