Barron Trump is at the heart of a sensational court case in London after being accused of helping prevent an alleged violent attack by swiftly alerting UK police from thousands of miles away.

The startling claim was made during explosive testimony at Snaresbrook Crown Court, where jurors heard that the son of the president of the United States intervened when he witnessed a disturbing scene unfold via FaceTime.

According to prosecutors, the woman involved, whose identity remains protected for legal reasons, was assaulted by her ex-boyfriend, Matvei Rumianstev, 22, in January of last year. The court was told the brutal incident was fueled by jealousy over her friendship with Barron.

Emergency Call From the US Played in Courtroom

Jurors were gripped as they listened to a 999 call made from the United States. Although Barron did not identify himself by name, his voice rang with urgency.

"I just got a call from a girl I know. She's getting beaten up," he told the operator. After giving her address, he added, "It's really an emergency, please. I got a call from her with a guy beating her up."

The FaceTime call, which Barron said lasted just 10 to 15 seconds, came unexpectedly. "She called me. I picked up the phone expecting a nice hello or something," he told investigators. He said that when he picked up the call, the screen first showed a ceiling while screams could be heard in the background. Moments later, a man's head came into view before the camera shifted, showing the woman crying as she was being struck.

"That Was the Best Thing I Could Do"

With no other immediate option, Barron said he decided to call authorities. "I called you guys – that was the best thing I could do," he explained. "I wasn't going to call back and threaten things to him because that would just make the situation worse."

Jurors were then shown police bodycam footage from the moment officers arrived at the woman's residence. She was informed that someone in the US had contacted emergency services for her. Her response stunned officers. "I'm friends with Barron Trump – Donald Trump's son," she said.

One officer was overheard saying to a colleague, "So apparently this informant from America is likely to be Donald Trump's son."

Barron's Identity Confirmed in Live Call

To verify the startling report, police instructed the woman to call Barron. She asked him directly, "Hello, Barron – did you call the police or anything?" to which he replied, "I had someone call the police."

But the court also heard a tense exchange between Barron and the emergency operator. "Can you stop being rude and actually answer my questions? If you want to help the person you'll answer my questions clearly and precisely, thank you. So how do you know her?" the call handler said.

Barron answered, "I met her on social media. She's getting really badly beat up and the call was about eight minutes ago, I don't know what could have happened by now." He later added, "So sorry for being rude."

Jurors were told the woman had dated Matvei for six months before the alleged assault. Prosecutors claimed the attack happened after he tried and failed to contact her earlier that day — and grew furious over her connection to Trump's youngest son.

The trial continues at Snaresbrook Crown Court, where the jury is considering whether Barron Trump's last-minute call from thousands of miles away helped save a life.
