Kelly Osbourne Stuns in Electric Blue Makeup, Sparking Buzz Over 'Healthier' Look — Photos
A bold festival look just reignited a conversation that has followed the rock legend's daughter for months. But this time, the reaction is very different.
On June 1, 2026, Kelly Osbourne made a special appearance at the Mighty Hoopla festival in London alongside Scissor Sisters, and the photos her makeup artist posted afterward drew a flood of comments.
But what fans wrote in response had everything to do with Kelly's glaring transformation and very little to do with the eyeshadow itself.
Makeup artist Jourdan Walker posted several images from the night, writing, "Electric blue glam for @kellyosbourne at @mightyhoopla for a special appearance with the ScissorSisters, ICONIC! Kel you were amazing! 💙" Hair credit went to @hairbyjaypinder, and the images made it clear that these two pros know what they're doing.
Kelly's eyes were the focal point of the makeup design. She had a dramatic, vintage-inspired blue eyeshadow gradient moving from a deep, intense blue in the crease to a soft, icy pastel near the brow bone. This was complemented with heavy black liner and voluminous false lashes.
Additionally, her complexion was matte and flawless, while her lips stayed neutral with a matte pale peach-nude and a clean liner. As for the hair, it was slicked into a wet-look bob, side-parted and pinned behind the ears with small silver clips.
Of course, people noticed how amazing she looked, but it was her entire face and how it had changed that really caught the eye.
In the comments section, the response was immediate and warm. "She looks so good! Way to battle back Kelly! ❤️," one person wrote. Another simply said, "Looking good!" while a third added, "Lookin good, like you put some weight on [sic]."
Several comments veered into something more emotional: "She's healing ❤️," wrote one follower, while others were more direct, writing, "Looks so much better!!" and "Looking healthier!!! So happy for her!"
The relief behind those words traces back to, at least, February 2026, when Kelly attended the Grammy Awards for the In Memoriam tribute to her late father, Ozzy Osbourne, who passed away in July 2025.
Seated beside her brother, Jack Osbourne, and mother Sharon Osbourne, her visibly thin frame drew immediate attention. Then, at the Brit Awards on February 28, her pronounced cheekbones intensified the conversation further.
A source who saw Kelly at the Clive Davis pre-Grammy party told the Daily Mail, "She looks even skinnier in person, it was scary." They added:
"I have known her for years and she has never looked like this before, not even close."
The same insider then went into more detail, "The first thing I noticed is how her face looks hollow, making her cheekbones stand out. When she talks it looks different, like weird. She is gorgeous, but being that thin is hard," the insider continued. "I don't think God intended people to be that thin."
A second source told the Daily Mail that "nobody near her is looking to provide an intervention, but people have noticed and are monitoring it," adding that "Kelly is definitely not concerned with how she looks and would tell anyone that would bring it up to her to go [expletive], but she does get upset over people talking about it."
"She is very skinny. She has been working on her weight her entire life and the stress of her dad passing away has been a major struggle to deal with that is taking a toll on her look and health."
Kelly has spent most of her adult life navigating public scrutiny regarding her body. In 2018, she underwent gastric sleeve surgery and subsequently dropped 85 pounds by committing to a strict diet and rigorous, high-intensity workouts.
But the pregnancy with her son Sidney in 2022 made her gain roughly 100 pounds back and brought gestational diabetes, a period she largely stepped away from the public eye to manage.
Throughout all of it, Kelly has firmly denied using Ozempic. The comparison to her mother, Sharon, 73, who publicly confirmed using the drug after her own dramatic weight loss, only kept the speculation going.
After the Brit Awards, Kelly responded directly. Hours after collecting a lifetime achievement award on behalf of her late father, she posted a statement to her Instagram Stories.
"There is a special kind of cruelty in harming someone who is clearly going through something," she wrote. "Kicking me while I'm down, doubting my pain, spreading my struggles as gossip, and turning your back when I need support and love most."
She continued, "None of it proves strength; it only reveals a profound absence of compassion and character." And then:
"I'm currently going through the hardest time in my life. I should not even have to defend myself. But I won't sit here and allow myself to be dehumanized in such a way!"
Her brother Jack, 40, has been navigating similar scrutiny. On May 20, he posted a video to Instagram pushing back on reports about his appearance.
In the video, he expressed deep frustration over recent articles claiming he was ill and severely underweight, calling the speculation completely absurd. He explained that his weight had remained perfectly steady ever since he finished filming "I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here" six months prior.
Instead, he attributed the change in his appearance entirely to shaving off his beard. He also pointed out that the media had relentlessly attacked him for being overweight his entire life, only to criticize him even more now that he has reached a healthy size.
Despite everything, those close to Kelly insist that her core personality remains completely unchanged. While her appearance might startle people at first, her friends and family still see the same energetic, humorous person she has always been, who loves being a mother and maintains a vibrant passion for life.
And the photos below, spanning years of her journey up to the electric blue look at Mighty Hoopla, show just how much she has transformed better than any netizen's comments could:
2002

A teenage Kelly Osbourne had a heavy-set look, but she was not overly big during the time the world first got to know her thanks to "The Osbournes" reality show. In this photo, she posed at the 44th Annual GRAMMY Awards Clive Davis Pre-GRAMMY Party at the Beverly Hills Hotel on February 26, 2002, in Beverly Hills, California.
2005

As she became famous on her own right, she started experimenting with different styles and her body matured as she aged. For this specific event, she arrived at the 25th Brit Awards at Earls Court 2 on February 9, 2005, in London, Great Britain.
2007

During most of her teenage and young adult years, her cheeks were prominent, giving her a softer, rounded silhouette despite her frame not looking that full. On this occasion, she arrived at the UK film premiere of "Dreamgirls" at the Odeon Leicester Square on January 21, 2007, in London, England.
2009

Experimenting with different hairstyles and colors became almost the norm for her, always looking different but her face retained a softer, fuller-figured silhouette. For this appearance, she arrived at Hollywood Life's 6th Annual Hollywood Style Awards at the Armand Hammer Museum on October 11, 2009, in Los Angeles, California.
2012

At some point, she started adopting longer hairstyles that stylized her silhouette. Purple became a signature color for her, and she was not afraid to try more feminine styles that often showed off her curvy look. On this occasion, Kelly spoke onstage at Logo's "NewNowNext Awards" at Avalon on April 5, 2012, in Hollywood, California.
2015

Of course, she was never afraid of going back to more rock star edgy styles and keeping her purple hair color. During this outing, Kelly attended A Taste Of John Paul Ataker Presentation Spring 2016 New York Fashion Week at The Skylark on September 10, 2015, in New York City.
2019

No matter the scrutiny, she worked hard in the industry making her own name, and her face maintained that soft, full look for a long time. Kelly was seen here attending the Momentum Pictures' "A Million Little Pieces" screening at The London Hotel on December 4, 2019, in West Hollywood, California.
2021

Kelly's appearance started seriously changing in the 2020s, becoming slightly more slender. For this taping, she sat for an episode of "I Can See Your Voice" on March 29, 2021.
2023

Her weight loss became impossible to ignore, especially for those who had followed her journey and iconic full-cheeked silhouette over the years, yet she looked absolutely fantastic while maintaining her signature purple locks. For this shoot, she posed for the season premiere of "Lego Masters Jr." on November 14, 2023.
2024

Still, people got used to her slender appearance because she looked healthy and happy while retaining the iconic edge of Ozzy's rock star daughter. On this occasion, Kelly attended the 66th Annual GRAMMY Awards at Crypto.com Arena on February 4, 2024, in Los Angeles, California.
2025

Eventually, she traded her signature purple for a bright blonde hue while maintaining her sleek, slender aesthetic. During this outing, Kelly attended The Serpentine Gallery Summer Party at Serpentine on June 24, 2025, in London, England.
2026

However, her 2026 appearances have drawn widespread attention, as her aesthetic continued to shift from her once-curvy frame to a strikingly slender, ultra-lean silhouette. Coming off a deeply challenging period following the passing of her father, heavy metal icon Ozzy Osbourne, last year, she showcased significantly more chiseled, hollowed cheekbones.

As seen in this photo and the one above, Kelly attended The BRIT Awards at Co-op Live on February 28, 2026, in Manchester, England, where she accepted the "Lifetime Achievement" award on behalf of her late father. Fortunately, her latest appearance suggests her physical well-being is moving back in a healthier, more vibrant direction. Keep scrolling to see it!
