A Facelift Nightmare That Left Her Horrified

In 2023, Sharon reflected on a facelift that ultimately left her shaken and reluctant to undergo further procedures. The procedure reportedly lasted five and a half hours, and the initial outcome left her deeply alarmed.

She later described the early results as horrendous and recalled confronting the surgeon in disbelief. Even so, Sharon admitted that she had gone too far with that particular surgery before deciding she would not do it again.

"Time is against me, I cannot have another facelift," she announced. The former talent show judge had previously made light of the results, joking that the facelift caused one eye to look different from the other. She said she looked like a "cyclops."

Sharon also joked, "I had a full facelift done in October, and I looked like one of those [expletive] mummies that they wrap [with bandages]. It hurt like hell."

Her late husband, Ozzy Osbourne, who had also undergone cosmetic work himself, was equally disturbed by the outcome and insisted that the issue be corrected, regardless of the cost. After undergoing a revision procedure, her face gradually settled, and she eventually felt satisfied with the result.

The Million-Dollar Makeover She Doesn't Regret

Sharon's openness on this subject knows no limit. When asked about her well-known fondness for cosmetic enhancements, she detailed the long list of procedures she has undergone over the years.

Her journey began with a brow lift and facelift. She later had liposuction on her neck followed by a neck lift, a breast lift, liposuction on her arms, and a tummy tuck. She also underwent a procedure to lift her buttocks and had implants inserted.

These procedures include the facelift, which initially left one eye sitting higher than the other. Sharon claimed the issue took a year to correct.

In addition to surgical procedures, she turned to Ozempic in December 2022, injecting herself weekly with the semaglutide medication designed to suppress appetite. Within four months, she lost 42 pounds, or three stone.

After this weight loss, she said she wanted to regain around 10 pounds. Sharon also decided she was finished with further cosmetic interventions. She acknowledged that there is little skin left for additional facial surgery and confirmed she would no longer use fillers or Botox.

When asked how much all of these operations and injections cost, she answered, "Well, I haven’t kept a running total, but it must top more than a million."

Nearly two decades ago, in an interview with Dr. Phil, Sharon was also asked whether the procedures were painful. She admitted that they did hurt, but emphasized that there is no pain without gain. When Dr. Phil joked that she was "like 50 percent new," she agreed, laughing.

Fans React: Concern, Praise, and Brutal Honesty

Netizens shared a mix of concern and admiration over Sharon's openness about her plastic surgery. One wrote, "If Sharon Osbourne really liked and loved herself. She would appreciate and be happy with how she looks and not feel the need to have all that unnecessary plastic surgery."

Another person expressed disappointment, "Sad she's never happy with herself." An individual reflected on her past beauty, "She used to be so beautiful..so sorry that she felt she couldn't age gracefully, but some people just don't see themselves like others do [sic]."

Some admired her honesty but wished for a broader cultural shift, "At least shes honest about it. but I just wish women could learn to age gracefully and accept they will have wrinkles. if more celebrities would go natural we'd have less of an epidemic of women hating themselves bc they compare themselves to these fake, surgery filled stars [sic]."

Others focused solely on her transparency, saying, "I love her honesty, unlike others in Hollywood." And one fan summed up their reaction simply with, "Wow!"

While netizens continue to share their views, Sharon has made it clear that she remains unfazed. As she once said, "I've never really cared what people say about the way I look because I know I've paid a fortune to try and look attractive."

Sharon stressed that using medication to aid weight loss should not be treated as something secretive, adding that there is nothing wrong with seeking help if it works for someone.

However, she cautioned against giving Ozempic to teenagers, arguing that the medication makes weight loss happen too quickly. She warned that rapid results can create a dependence on the outcome, which she believes could become harmful.

Now that she is no longer on Ozempic, her weight loss goals have shifted. "I'm at the point of losing too much that I have to try and maintain. In my life, the heaviest I was 230 pounds, and I'm now under a hundred. And I want to maintain at about 105 because I'm too skinny. But I'm trying to have a healthy balance," she noted.

For Sharon, the journey has been far from simple, as she has openly discussed her complicated relationship with body image. She explained that much of it has been psychological.

Sharon admitted that at times she would overeat as a form of self-punishment and at other times restrict food to feel a sense of control. She also acknowledged that while she attempted to exercise, she struggled to stay consistent.

Inside Her Lifelong Battle with Weight

The former TV host has also spoken in detail about some of the medical procedures she has undergone to manage her weight. Among them was a gastric band, a surgical treatment that involves placing an adjustable band around the upper portion of the stomach to help curb appetite.

She later had a sleeve gastrectomy, a procedure that removes part of the stomach and reshapes the remaining portion into a narrow, tube-like structure.

Reflecting on her lifelong struggles, she acknowledged that disordered eating has been her personal battle for many years.

No Quick Fix: Diets, Discipline, and Hard Truths

Before using Ozempic, Sharon had spoken in 2015 about following a different weight-loss plan. At the time, she explained that lasting change required transforming one's entire lifestyle. She had started the Atkins program three years earlier and said she no longer found it difficult to maintain.

She reflected on a lifelong struggle with fluctuating weight, describing cycles of gaining, losing, and regaining pounds through fad diets. According to her, there was no quick fix, and meaningful results come from educating oneself about nutrition and making consistent changes.

Addressing common misconceptions about Atkins, she clarified that the version she followed — Atkins 40 — was not limited to heavy protein consumption.

Instead, it allowed for a balanced intake that included fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. She said it worked both for maintaining weight and for gradual weight loss.

Walks, Willpower, and Learning Self-Kindness

Sharon also stressed that diet was only part of the equation, noting that physical activity is equally important. For her, that often meant taking relaxed walks around her neighborhood, something she genuinely enjoyed.

At the same time, she acknowledged that everyone has off days, including moments of indulgence. Rather than dwelling on setbacks, she emphasized the importance of self-kindness.

Sharon encouraged people to focus on their health for themselves rather than for appearance alone. She also pointed out that many people prioritize caring for others while neglecting their own well-being, urging individuals to remember their own value.
