Water is essential to life, and the human body can't survive without it for more than just a couple of days. Still, people tend to underestimate its importance on a daily basis.

Tim McGraw was one of those people. The talented country singer was set to deliver a full performance to his Irish fans on Sunday, March 11, 2018, but his show was cut short.

The announcement was made by his wife, and fellow country singer, Faith Hill, who stepped on stage to address the crowd after seeing her husband fall in front of the crowd, as reported by Pop Culture.

Tne 50-year-old had just finished performing Humble & Kind, one of his many hits, when he dropped to his knees, displaying a clear lack of strength and low energy levels.

Hill told the concerned Irish audience that her husband was just dehydrated and that she had decided to cancel the show in order for him to recover. She followed her statement with an apology.

According to the source, although the show, which was part of the Country to Country festival, was canceled, she said that they were looking forward to performing for them again very soon.

After retreating, McGraw was assisted by local medical staff on-site and his representative, whose name is yet to be revealed, said that the acclaimed artist was going to be fine.

As reported by Pop Culture, the Dublin performance was part of the three-day tour that started in London, on Friday; on Saturday, the couple performed in Glasgow, Scottland.

Now, McGraw and Hill are scheduled to perform on may 31 in Richmond, Virginia. That will be the start of this year's edition of their Soul 2 Soul tours, the first album that they've released together.

Aside from his performances, McGraw caught the public's attention by congratulating Dick's Sporting Goods for changing its firearms sales policies following the mass high school shooting that took place in February, in Parkland, Florida.
