Fox News star Jesse Watters divorces wife after sensational cheating affair
The pair has called it quits following the scandalous cheating controversy.
39-year-old Jesse Watters from Fox News is currently in the process of finalizing his divorce with his wife Noelle Inguagiato. The pair has been married for nine years, as shared by the Daily Mail.
Their marriage was cut short when Watters confessed to having an affair with his associate producer, 25-year-old Emma DiGiovine.
Watters admitted to his bosses that the cheating speculation was true right after Inguagiato filed for divorce in October 2017, according to sources who approached New York Daily News.
After the debacle, DiGiovine was transferred to work for The Ingraham Angle, but reports claimed that she and Watters are dating until now.
A Fox News representative spoke to the newspaper and said, 'Within 24 hours of Jesse Watters voluntarily reporting to the Chief of Human Resources in November 2017 that he was in a consensual relationship with a woman on his staff, management met with both parties and a decision was made for the woman to be transferred to work on another program on the network where she currently remains.'
In 2009, Watters tied the knot with Inguagiato. The pair met while working at Fox News.
At the time, Watters was working for Bill O’Reilly’s show while she was working for the advertising and promotions department. Also, Inguagiato was the host of the web show, iMag Style.
In 2011, they welcomed twin daughters into the family. Inguagiato stopped working afterward and dedicated her time as a full-time mother, while Watters proceeded to build his name at Fox News.
DiGiovine’s LinkedIn profile suggests that she became Watters’ associate producer in June 2016. By that time, his segment was still included on O’Reilly’s show.
Lawyers from both sides declined to comment to address the issue and a woman living at DiGiovine’s home in New Jersey also did not give a statement.
