Princess Charlotte could be a bridesmaid and it wouldn't be Harry's wedding

Speculations are rife that the little Princess could be performing special duties for the third time.

Pop Sugar reported that Princess Charlotte could accompany Princess Eugenie when she walks down the aisle on October 12, 2018.

Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank are set to tie the knot later this year. Though there is enough time for the wedding, speculation has begun about who will accompany the bride on her special day.

Her close friends Cressida Bonas and Holly Branson are close contenders to the spot. However, the bride usually opts for little ones to perform bridesmaid duties in the royal weddings.

This leaves open just one position for a grown-up female attendant.

If the bride-to-be decides to follow protocol, she is likely to select sister Princess Beatrice as her maid-of-honor and a few little royal ladies as her flower girls.

Among her close friends, Eugenie is one of the first to be married. This leaves her with little to choose from among her friends.

She will, in all likelihood, turn to her royal cousin’s children for her wedding party.

Princess Charlotte

William and Kate’s second child will be three by the time Princess Eugenie walks down the aisle on October 12. It is considered as the perfect age for a mini bridesmaid.

Charlotte comes with some experience having performed wedding duties for her aunt Pippa Middleton in 2017.

She is likely to have some more experience under her belt when she performs the duties again for her new aunt, Meghan Markle, on May 19.

Princess Eugenie’s wedding could well be her royal hat-trick.

Savannah and Isla Phillips

The daughters of cousin Peter Phillips were either too young or not born yet at the time of the last royal weddings, William and Kate’s, and Zara and Mike Tindall’s.

The seven-year-old Savannah and five-year-old Isla are sure to be first in line for Eugenie.

Mia Tindall

Zara and Mike Tindall’s daughter is four years old and is a playmate of Prince George and Princess Charlotte, as well as cousins with Savannah and Isla Phillips.

She too would be a perfect choice for the new bride when it comes to selecting her mini-maids.
