Ashton Kutcher breaks silence about the new cast of 'Ranch'
He is excited to work with an old friend after years.
An article published by Pop Culture reported on the recent revelation made by Ashton Kutcher that actor Dax Shepard will feature on the upcoming episodes of the web television series The Ranch.
Kutcher shared a post on social media to break the news to fans and followers. In the post, he shared a photo of him and Shepard at the set of the series.
After the exit of Danny Masterson, the series is set to introduce a brand new character that promises an interesting turn of events.
Shepard will be portraying the character Luke Matthews, a young man who used to serve as a soldier and is linked to the Iron River Ranch.
Matthews and Colt, the central character played by Kutcher, become close friends over a few episodes. He even develops a bonding with Colt’s father Beau Bennett, played by Sam Elliott.
However, despite the new friendships, Luke finds it difficult to leave his past behind.
Kutcher seems excited to be working with Shepard, and he revealed that this is not their first project together.
Captioning his social media post, Kutcher reminded fans that he and Shepard had appeared together in the first season of the series Punkd.
The introduction of a new character on the show has gathered a lot of buzz. However, it was also reported that Shepard’s character will not be a permanent one.
He is scheduled to appear in the first few episodes, after which Luke Matthews will be worked out of the script.Shepard will also appear on a Fox comedy series titled Bless This Mess for about a year.
The filming of the series has not yet begun and will kickstart in June this year.In the Fox series, Shepard will act alongside Lake Bell as an onscreen married couple who want to start a new chapter in their lives.
The story revolves around the duo who recently got married and moved away from the hustle bustle of New York City to Nebraska in the hopes of leading a simple, hassle-free life.
