Matt confronts Amy: the Roloff family is going through a difficult time
The stars of Little People, Big World are going through rough times.
Tension flared when Matt Roloff asked his ex-wife, Amy, to move into a smaller house, as reported by Pop Culture
According to Matt, Amy's presence on the farm has negatively affected his relationship with girlfriend and farm manager, Caryn Chandler.
The former couple had earlier agreed about Amy living on the farm after they decided to end their marriage.
Amy resisted when Matt asked her about moving into a smaller house..
"I don't think so," she told him. Matt replied, "It's not fair."
Matt said that it's awkward living near Amy.
The recent transition has been tough for the family matriarch as well.
"My life has changed. The family is going separate ways and in different directions," she said in the reality series' promo for the upcoming season.
Matt or Amy have four children: fraternal twins, Jeremy and Zachary; Molly and Jacob.
The former couple, who both have achondroplasia, met at a Little People of America convention in 1987.
Their divorce was finalized in May 2016, two years after they announced their separation. They were married for 28 years.
Like Matt, Amy is also in a new relationship.
Their family rose to prominence with their reality show, Little People, Big World, which premiered in August 2005. The show has spawned a number of spin-offs through the years.
Matt, who is also an avid motivational speaker, is the show's executive producer.
The long-awaited new season of the Little people, Big World is expected to hit small screens next month on TLC.
It will give fans an inside look at the recent changes that have struck the family.
These changes include Zach and Tori Roloff's first couple of months with son Jackson Kyle and Audrey and Jeremy Roloff welcoming daughter, Ember Jean.
The new season will also show the progress of Amy's romance with her new boyfriend, Chris Marek.
