Mom's tired of being ashamed of her body. She shares a photo that's spread like wildfire
A mother from Australia realized what she had been missing because of feeling self-conscious about her body.
Kirsten Bosly from Perth, Australia, said she had a new outlook on life after reading a meme that made her realize what things in life are more important.
Goodfullness revealed that Bosly used to feel ashamed and uncomfortable in her body.
She and her family loved to go to the beach but she was always very conscious of the fact that she was wearing a bathing suit.
Now Bosly claimed in a post that she has had a realization that helped her see that she should not feel ashamed of her figure.
She shared on the lengthy post that she used to hate her body and that she always wanted to have a slimmer body.
Bosly continued to state that she had previously read a meme that really stuck with her.
She wrote, ‘I recently read a meme that said something along the lines of ‘be in pictures with your kids because when you’re gone, the pictures will be all they have left’ and it struck a nerve. I’ve avoided pictures most of the time as I disliked how I looked in them.’
Bosly, currently 41 years old, said she will no longer let her insecurities get the best of her. She added that she had let go of the hatred and resentment she felt towards her body.
Bosly decided to take a picture with her kids on the beach so that her children would have a remembrance of their memories together and how much fun they had.
She said that she doesn’t care anymore about her cellulite and other imperfections. What mattered to her was her kids and the moments they have shared and will share together.
Bosly said, ‘I look at this photo, and all I can see is how happy we are, and that’s awesome. I finally feel free, and it feels awesome!’
