'Dancing with the Stars' judge suffers injury on air, worries fans upon revealing it on 'Live'
Carrie Ann Inaba managed to hurt herself while co-hosting with Ryan Seacrest. The star got injured while she was performing a dance routine in heels.
According to Entertainment Daily, Inaba injured her foot on March 22, 2018. She wasn’t present to host Live the next day; possibly due to her foot injury.
Inaba's second-day guest co-hosting Live with Kelly and Ryan didn't go as planned. The Dancing With The Stars judge cut her foot, without realizing it, as she performed a dance move during a segment on the show.
The show's official Instagram page shared a video on the same Thursday showing her bloody foot. "How did I do that?" the dancer could be seen asking in the clip.
She also wondered out loud if the injury was caused by her shoe referring to the gray suede heels she was wearing during the show. Fans were quick to comment on the post, asking if she was fine.
This was the star’s second day filling in for Kelly Ripa, who is currently on vacation. She showcased her hosting abilities on Wednesday’s show but viewers were divided about her skills.
‘@carrieanninaba injured her foot while doing the split...but didn’t notice/ feel it at all. #TrueDancer #DancerProblems.’

Some loved her while others weren't so keen on her bubbly personality. During Wednesday’s episode, fans saw her and Seacrest interview former Saturday Night Live star, Jay Pharoah, as he previewed the film Unsane.
Midnight Sun actress Bella Thorne also dropped by to discuss her latest projects.
During Thursday's show, the pair interviewed actor, producer and director Tyler Perry. They spoke to him about the film Tyler Perry's Acrimony and also sat down with Station 19 star Jason George.
But on Friday, March 23, 2018, Ryan's On Air with Ryan Seacrest co-host Sisanie will be joining him instead. The pair will sit down with Acrimony actress Taraji P. Henson and Midnight Sun actor Patrick Schwarzenegger.
Plus, the former The Chew co-host, Daphne Oz, will teach the co-hosts how to make homemade baby food.
