As reported in an article published by Meaww, Sweden's Princess Madeleine gave birth to her third daughter on Friday, March 9, 2018. She had her husband by her side at the Danderyd Hospital in Stockholm.

Madeleine and her husband Chris O'Neill's baby girl weighed 7.6 lbs. and was measured to be 19.7 inches tall at the time of her birth.

The Swedish Royal Court released a public statement about the newborn royal's birth and stated that the Royal girl was born healthy.

The Swedish Princess also shared her newborn daughter's picture with her fans as they quickly took to social media to congratulate Madeleine and O'Neill.

The couple already had two children before their recent addition to the royal family. Princess Leonore is four years old while Prince Nicholas is two and a half years old.

O'Neill confessed that Leonore and Nicolas finally got to meet their long-awaited sibling. The naming of the little girl is scheduled to be done this week.

Her grandparents, Queen Silvia and King Carl XVI, had returned home after enjoying their skiing vacation in the Swiss Alps.

According to the palace spokesperson, Margareta Thorgren, Silvia and Carl had returned to attend a thanksgiving ceremony that was held to celebrate the birth of their royal granddaughter.

Madeleine flew to Sweden from London to get all the required medical attention and prepare for her delivery.

She had given birth to her first child, Leonore, at a private hospital in New York while Nicolas was born at Stockholm’s Danderyd Hospital.

O'Neill and Madeleine had moved from New York to London in 2015 since O'Neill works at the Wilton Payments Limites as a managing director.

The couple had expressed their desire to have another baby, as documented in an interview last year given to Expressen, a Swedish newspaper.

O'Neill had expressed that he and Madeleine wanted to have more children in the family and always dreamed of having a very big family.

The Swedish Princess had also disclosed that she was like any other mother and had a daily morning routine with her family. Madeleine and O'Neill met each other for the first time in New York City.

The two fell in love and tied the knot in June 2013 in a very lavish wedding ceremony.
