Josh Duhamel is severely criticized for allegedly cheating on Fergie with his new girlfriend

45-year-old actor Josh Duhamel and singer Fergie are said to have broken up before they made it official in September 2017, but now he is being accused of cheating. Shortly after they made their breakup official, Duhamel started dating 28-year-old actress, Eiza Gonzalez. According to Pop Culture, the couple had been married for 8 years before the split.

A source told Café Mom that Duhamel saw Eiza at an event and asked to be introduced. Even though he liked her very much from the get-go, the actor kept their communications very private to prevent any gossip from reaching the mother of her son. While some say that he was cheating on Fergie since he was already talking to Eiza while they were still together, there is little truth in that as yet another unnamed source says the two had already broken up months before Eiza and Duhamel got together.

The source says that Duhamel has been respectful to Fergie especially during the breakup and has spent plenty of time being loving to make the breakup as amicable as possible.

"This couple has worked to separate amicably and so far it seems to be working. Josh is ready to move on and he seems very smitten with Eiza. Josh is a very good man and wants to be respectful to the mother of his son. He wants to make sure Fergie knows he supports her life and her future ... He is being so loving and respectful to Fergie and making sure she knows he is there for her."

Something came up in the conversation that has been going on about the epic breakup, with one commenter claiming that Duhamel cheated on Fergie barely a year into their marriage.

"He just doesn't want to look like the sleazebag that he really is! Now he's doing some plastic surgery addict who did Miley's ex when he was on the rebound and also Calvin Harris on the rebound! A 45 year old father playing with a trashy woman who does guys on the rebound! He doesn't want her to know she's just an easy piece either! He's a better actor than I thought."
