'Sister Wives' star Kody makes a frank confession about his intimate life with first wife Meri
Although they were a very successful marriage for many years, sometimes things aren't meant to be forever.
The drama between Kody Brown and his first wife, Meri, was one of the main subjects of Sister Wives' Tell All episode, which aired on Sunday night, March 24, 2018.
According to Radar Online, 49-year-old Kody is not completely satisfied with the current relationship status with his first wife, Meri.
In a new clip from the show, in which all the family members discuss the just-concluded season, it seems that Kody and 47-year-old Meri 'don’t pull any punches about their troubled relationship.'
The same outlet explained that Meri is Kody’s first wife, also stating that only that marriage and his fourth one, to Robyn, were legal.
NBC’s Andrea Canning was the one in charge of Sunday’s special, showing a scene in which Kody was in the car on speakerphone with a reporter saying that Meri claimed to be his wife while they didn't live together.
At one point after watching that scene, Canning smiled to Kody and asked, “Why did you feel that was important to share?”
“I was feeling a little snarky. Not towards Meri, but towards this law,” he replied, referring the fact that his marriages are not recognized by law.
Right after that, Canning asked Meri how she felt about Kody’s comments. The sister wife wasn't exactly in peace with the situation.
“What’s hard to hear is you saying that you feel like a divorced couple living on the same block and the lack of intimacy," Meri replied.
Kody then confirmed he didn't want to be intimate with Meri at this point after Canning directly asked him about the matter, and Meri said that she wanted "more of a relationship with him" than what they're having right now.
According to Radar Online, Meri recently sent out a cryptic tweet about not being good enough to Kody, and how that could be just his problem, but ultimately, she didn’t explain what she meant.
Kody divorced Meri in 2014 to wed Robyn legally. The family also includes two other “wives,” Christine and Janelle.
