The show host and presenter will be seen on television for the last two episodes of his show with Declan Donnelly. This was after Ant McPartlin had to go into rehab.

The star went into rehab after being involved in an accident while drunk-driving. According to The Sun, Donnelly will be presenting alone and his co-host might get kicked off the show.

The Saturday Night Takeaway show might be canceled by its bosses in the future. But for now, The Sun Bizarre column has revealed that they have decided to risk having angry viewers in order to screen the final episodes of the scripted mini-series.

Viewers might be upset because McPartlin features a lot on the show which also stars Joanna Lumley, Michael Sheen, David Walliams, and Emilia Fox. An insider shared, “But after a lot of soul searching it was decided that the final two episodes should run because viewers have loved the series and want to find out the conclusion in the final two episodes.

At the same time, ITV bosses are in crisis talks with Donnelly and show producers to address how to explain McPartlin’s absence from the show on air.

“At the moment talks are taking place about exactly how his situation in regards to the drink driving charge and rehab will be addressed.”

The presenter was arrested on suspicion of drunk-driving a week ago following a three-car crash in South West London. He checked himself into rehab the following day.

This latest stint comes just seven months after he left a facility where he was being treated for an addiction to prescription drugs. Last weekend’s episode of Saturday Night Takeaway was canceled as a result.

But Donnelly is expected to present the final two shows of the series without his co-host. McPartlin is now expected to stay in treatment for the remainder of the year.

He is going to miss Britain’s Got Talent and I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here.
