Christina Aguilera looks unrecognizable without makeup and hair extensions in recent photos
Popular singer Christina Aguilera recently surprised her fans after she posed for Paper magazine without her signature full makeup and hair extensions.
AmoMama brings you the interesting news that singer Christina Aguilera is covering the May issue of Paper magazine without makeup and his extensions according to a March 26, 2018, post by Daily Mail.
A true pop icon, Christina Aguilera is a recipient of five Grammy awards, one Latin Grammy Award and also has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The thirty-six-year-old has gone on to sell more than forty-three million albums in the United States ever since her debut album in 1999.
One part of the Latin singer which has endeared her to her fans is her innate, creative and sometimes risque sense of fashion. Over the years, she has given us audacious outfits, glamorous makeup and more.
But this time around, Christina Aguilera was going lowkey with her cover of the May issue of Paper Magazine.
A teaser of the cover was recently released and it showed the thirty-seven-year-old without makeup.
Yep, the Genie in a Bottle hitmaker was pictured without one dot of paint on her face.
She looked totally different as she held a manicured hand up to her naked lips with a diamond ring that had MOM inscribed on it.
The cover line read Transformation and inside the photos by Zoey Grossman showed more of the same, though in some frames she was heavily made up.
The pictures showed a new side to Christina Aguilera that we haven't seen before.
The pictures showed that she has freckles which have always been covered up.
The Stripped hitmaker also had her blonde hair worn naturally in one set up as little wisps surrounded her face.
Speaking to Paper magazine, she said,
'I've always been someone that obviously loves to experiment, loves theatrics, loves to create a storyline and play a character in a video or through stage'
'I'm a performer, that's who I am by nature. But I'm at the place, even musically, where it's a liberating feeling to be able to strip it all back and appreciate who you are and your raw beauty'.
However, that doesn't necessarily mean Christina Aguilera will be swearing off makeup. The singer says that she will soon go back to her default setting as she loves makeup.
'I mean, I'm a girl that likes a beat face, let's not get it twisted,'
Nevertheless, we are definitely enjoying her no-makeup look for the time being.
