Mary J. Blige looks more powerful than ever as she keeps $12.3 million estate after bitter divorce

- AmoMama learned from ‘Bossip’ that Mary J. Blige’s divorce from her husband Kendu Isaacs is finally over and the star can move on.

- Since it came out that she was getting divorced, there has been one drama after another especially from her almost ex-husband’s corner.

- But all that is over as Mary gets to keep her house and look good while doing it.

It’s finally over.

The sun is out for singer Mary J. Blige who recently concluded her bitter divorce from her former manager Kendu Isaacs.

But that’s not the only thing that’s changing for the 47-year-old singer as she has now taken her eight-bedroom home off the market.

This means that they would be ‘no more drama’ for the singer as she removed the home from the market at the same time that she settled with Kendu out of court, last month.

According to Bossip, the ‘Queen of Hip Hop Soul’ has spent 10 years trying to sell the mansion which sources claim cost her $12.3 million in 2008.

The property boasts eight bedrooms, ten bathrooms, a studio, media room, library, and staff quarters, according to the home’s listing.

The ‘Family Affair’ singer had gradually reduced the price of the mansion after she put it up for sale in 2008 for almost $14 million.

Last summer, she dropped the price again to $6.9 million from $8.8 million and it remains unclear whether the singer plans to keep the estate for herself or give it to Kendu as part of their settlement.

The taxes on the property alone are at least $85,000, so unemployed Kendumight have a little trouble coughing out the ‘doe’ it requiresto live there.

Whatever the case may be with the ownership situation, Mary looks more powerful and secure in her this new phase of her life.
