Anna Farris reportedly claims she's won't marry again after painful divorce

The actress seems to have gone cynical when it comes to marriage. She has already tied the knot twice and is now unsure about believing in marriage.

Anna Faris is currently dating cinematographer Michael Barrett but she has admitted that she is not certain anymore about her belief in marriage. AmoMama collected info from Daily Mail.

The 41-year-old has been married twice—to actors Ben Indra from 2004 to 2007 and Chris Pratt in 2009 to August last year. Both marriages have failed and she has a five-year-old son, Jack, with Chris.

On Monday’s episode of Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast, she said:

“I need to figure out what the purpose is. Is it safety for your children? Is it convention? Is it so other people respect your relationship more?”

“For me, I’m just not quite sure where it fits, especially when it feels so easy to get married, and then the untangling—when the state gets involved. There is the importance of how other people then treat you as a married man than as a man with a girlfriend.”

“I do think it is important how other people respect a relationship…I’m not saying it’s a good reason, but it is a small benefit of having that label of being married. I am a romantic. I believe in partnership, I believe in companionship. I just don’t know if I believe in a ceremony of a wedding.”

She started dating her current boyfriend, Michael, since October of last year.
