Christina Aguilera is reportedly scared for kids as she reveals the struggles of being famous mom

Being a good and attentive mother must be hard work for superstar Christina Aguilera but that doesn’t stop her from being doing her best.

Singer and mother-of-two Christina Aguilera has revealed that she doesn't want to influence her children too much as she is scared of how that could turn out. The 37-year-old hit-maker shares her 10-year-old son, Max, with Jordan Bratman and three-year-old daughter, Summer, with Matthew Rutler.

According to her, she doesn’t want to influence her children too much so that they can become very confident as they grow. Her concern is mostly for Summer whom she hopes won't be easily swayed by outside opinion when she grows up.

She said:

‘That's truly what I hope for her. I really want to make sure my children are both very confident in the sense that they know who they are and that they won't be easily swayed by outside opinion.’

The actress, who went barefaced for her Paper magazine cover, stated that she understands all too clearly the implication of living in the ‘age of social media’ but she believes progress is being made.

That’s little compared to the ‘heart attack’ she thinks her son will give her soon if his continues love for parkour doesn’t stop soon. During an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2016, the Grammy Award winner said:

‘Max is into this new sport a.k.a free running, parkour. It's all these crazy men jumping off of buildings and stuff. He's just like this little acrobat.’

The ‘What a Girl Wants’ singer obviously loves spending time with her children even though it might be difficult for her to balance her career and family life. Christina is also very protective of them as she rarely shares photos of them on social media.

She has been known to say that she’s glad she has her children even though they mostly don’t care about her famous status.
