Singer Kylie Minogue finally opens up about her split from her ex-fiancé Joshua Sasse a year after they broke up.

Kylie Minogue might have been able to conquer the music scene but her relationship life hasn’t been a bed of roses as she opens up about her feelings after splitting from Joshua Sasse.

Kylie met Joshua Sasse who was 20 years younger than her in September 2015 and believed he was ‘The One’. They got engaged just 6 months after they met and things were going great until February 2017 when the duo split.

It was reported that Kylie ended her engagement with Joshua due to rumors of him cheating with an actress but she never spoke about the devastating break up until now.

Speaking about how the breakup affected her, Kylie revealed that she’s better off on her own and that she believed herself and Joshua were never meant for each other.

The 49-year-old singer who was devastated after the relationship ended is in a much happy state and willingly speaks about the mistakes she’s encountered in her search for love.

She confessed to deceiving herself in the earlier stages of the relationship but things became unbearable and she couldn’t take it anymore in the later stages so she had to opt out.

In her words:

‘You try to do your best even if somehow you kind of know you’re lying to yourself and you’re lying to other people because you’re trying to make something work because it’s supposed to work.’

She also disclosed how she felt about relationships saying she doesn’t believe it’s her destiny to meet ‘The One’ as a part of her believes strongly that it’s not meant for everyone.

A year after the breakup, Kylie released her album Golden, proving she’s well recovered from whatever pained she felt and she’s ready to take the world by storm again.

Kylie is sure in a happy place again and her fans are more than excited about that!
