Wendy Williams slams Carrie Underwood for hiding her face in new photo she shares

Just days after Carrie Underwood revealed her face to the world, AmoMama is learning that Wendy Williams called the singer out for hiding her scars. Hollywood Life reports that Wendy wants the singer to show her fans what she has been hiding.

Singer Carrie Underwood fell and hurt her face over four months ago and had 50 stitches to repair the damage. While her face healed, the singer kept it hidden, fearing that the nasty fall changed a lot of things. Well, Carrie finally revealed her face on Instagram on April 4, but it seems Wendy Williams never got the memo.

A day after the reveal, Wendy went on to rant on her show that the singer ought to embrace her scars and show them to the world as her fans would soon grow tired of waiting.

“People might turn on you and say, like, ‘Why are you keeping it from us?'” Wendy warned Carrie. “Fans might be upset and say, ‘Why did you make such a big deal when there’s such a tiny little something?’ Wear your scar like Padma [Lakshmi]. Scars are beautiful. What’s over there on that other side, Carrie? Show us!”

Wendy may be forgiven for this seeing as the singer only showed one side of her face, but still one would have expected a show host to do thorough research before presenting their views on a live show. This isn’t the first time the show host is talking about Carrie’s face. At the beginning of the year, she said that the singer was probably recovering from a facelift, sentiments that had the studio audience gasping, but she later accepted that maybe it wasn’t the said cosmetic procedure after all.

Carrie had warned fans that her face would be different after the stitches, but she had nothing to worry about all along. Yes, she does have a scar, but it is too faint to notice.
