Mel B is spotted beaming with her stunning daughter while celebrating her 11th birthday

Even with the controversies and chaos that her custody battle with ex-husband Stephen Belafonte is bringing, Mel B chose to celebrate her daughter’s 11th birthday.

Her second daughter, Angel Iris Murphy Brown, turned 11 on April 3 and they had a celebration for the girl who has been mired and involved with the battle when a letter she supposedly wrote was shared by Andrea Brown. AmoMama gleaned details from Daily Mail.

The Spice Girl was spotted looking sexy in Los Angeles at the Hatsatoun restaurant and beaming with the birthday girl and her other daughters, Madison, 6, and Phoenix, 19. Mel’s mother, Andrea, was also present.

Mel donned a pair of tiny white shorts, plunging white blouse, a pair of lace-up peep toe, and ankle boots. She was seen emerging from the vehicle with her youngest, Madison, who looked sweet in a yellow dress with a matching headband.

The birthday girl was garbed in a houndstooth shirt with a pair of ripped skinny jeans. Her grandmother was present, showing people that all is well with her daughter. Mel’s sister, Danielle, was also at the party to celebrate with her niece.

The lovely photos of the celebration came after Andrea posted a snap of a letter reportedly written by Angel about how, Stephen, her former stepfather physically and emotionally abused them.

Parts of the letter read:

“I’m very frightened of Stephen. When he is mad its terrifying. I never want to see him ever again it’d be like reliving a horrible part of my life.

“We can eat up an actual dinner and I can see my REAL dad. I create small picture books and I have no more fear.”

The producer dismissed the claims and told TMZ that it never came to his mind to adopt Angel, whose biological father is actor Eddie Murphy, because he thought that he was going to be with Mel for the rest of his life.

“It was something I didn’t even think about, we didn’t talk about it. It was almost like,s he’s my daughter. Eddie wasn’t around. I was the only parent, father figure.”
