This upcoming season will feature solely talented athletes. Entertainment Daily suggested that the show most likely scanned through the previous Olympians who truly made their marks in their respective sports.

Entertainment Tonight shared that Jennie Finch, an all-star softball athlete, is the latest speculated contender for the show, which airs on ABC.

A source told the media outlet that the production has been wanting to have her on the show for a number of years now.

“She’s great on camera and very competitive. She will be the one to beat,” the source continued.

37-year-old Finch is supposedly contending against Adam Rippon, Tonya Harding, and Jamie Anderson. The three have been previously announced to be some of the official cast members for the 26th season.

Like Finch, Rippon had long been eyed to join the cast, as suggested by Entertainment Tonight.

In an interview, Rippon said that to compete on the show would be a great opportunity.
