Jinger Duggar shows off her baby bump. But fans pay attention to her short dress and heels

Even though having a surprise baby shower is not that common, Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo’s friend threw one for their upcoming baby girl.

It took place on April 8, 2018, at Juan and Margarita’s home. Not only did they offer their house for the party, but also they served as the organizers and hosts for the surprise baby shower.

According to In Touch Weekly, Jinger, 24, put on a white dress with a small, black pattern all over it. The number also had a waistband cinched in that highlighted her baby bump.

One of the most surprising aspects of her outfit was that the gown was too short for the Duggar’s standards as its cut was just above her knees. Her parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, were present but Jinger’s outfit didn’t seem to bother them.

Another piece of clothing that also took her followers by surprise was her high heels. Despite the fact that the whole party was outside in the backyard, she never took them off.

While wearing a ‘short’ dress for a baby shower might not be seen as a big deal in most families, the Duggars are completely different as they have very strict rules.

All Jim Bob and Michelle’s daughters must wear clothes that don’t show too much of their skin. They are allowed to wear dresses, but only if the cut is a couple of inches above their ankles.

The truth is that it is not the first time Jinger has done things that go against her family’s rules. She frequently wears pants and blue jeans, which are also banned.

Her behavior and wardrobe started changing when she married Vuolo. Since she left her father’s home already, he has no right to tell her what to do, and Jim Bob knows it.

During an interview, he revealed that once their daughters get married, they are under their husband’s responsibility and it is up to them if they let them wear pants, dresses, or whatever they want to put on.
