Estranged son of Tom Jones lives on the street. But he wants to say some warm words to his dad

After so many years without receiving love from his own father, he still wants to meet him and say kind words to him.

Jon Jones, his real name is Jonathan Berkery, is a homeless man living in New Jersey, but he has a father more famous that anyone could ever desire.

According to Daily Mail, this 29-year-old aspiring musician ironically has never met the music superstar, not even once.

According to Mirror, Jon was born in June 1988 thanks to a three-day fling Tom had with aspiring model Katherine Berkery in October 1987. Tom was 47 years old at the time while the model was 24.

The same outlet explained that he hasn't had much luck meeting him so far, as Tom Jones himself is not willing to admit it, or he doesn't even care about the matter.

The singer did not even publicly admit to having a second child until 2008, despite judge-ordered DNA tests proving his paternity. Tom had to pay £1,700 a month towards Jon's upkeep until the age of 18

Although Tom has never been acknowledged by his father, the guy still hopes that they'll meet before Tom gets too old to even knowing who he is.

"I’d like to talk to him about normal stuff, like: 'How’s your life been? This is mine.' He's getting old and he could be ill. I want to see him before it is too late," he explained in an interview with Daily Mail.

The monthly allowance was nothing in comparison to Tom's gigantic fortune, that according to Mirror, it's around £155million.

And while Tom ended up paying fully for Jon's upkeep during several years, he had nothing else to do with his son. "It wasn't something I had planned," he said at the time.

"If I had planned it, I would have done something more than just financially. But it wasn't. I just fell for it. I just fell for the seduction," the singer explained.

Jon was sick of this treatment and became a rebellious teenager. He turned to drugs and after struggling to hold down a job, he's been homeless on and off for the last years.

This guy has been living a rough life lately, as he even lived in his car in Miami. During that time, he was arrested for possession of drugs and spent four nights locked.

Finally, he agreed to go to rehab in exchange for his release and his life started looking better. He found a job and a new place he could call home. He even started working on his music.

Unfortunately, he lost it all again. According to Mirror, Jon was sleeping on park benches until the cold weather forced him into a homeless shelter.
