Carrie Underwood looks fabulous during her first performance since devastating facial injury
As the 2018 Academy of Country Music Awards kicked off at the MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas, the American Idol winner also debuted her face since her accident in November 2017.
On Sunday night, Carrie Underwood had her first scheduled performance since she suffered a facial injury that needed 40 to 50 stitches. Not a scar was seen on her beautiful face. Daily Mail has the scoop.
The mother-of-one took the stage wearing a glittery silver mini dress and pair of matching heels as she performed her new song Cry Pretty.
The “life-changing injury” to the left side of her face she was talking about seemed to be nowhere to be found as she was heavily made-up with foundation and dark blush shading her cheeks.
The country crooner also sported her long blond locks in a way that it fell across the left side of her face. Silver glitters around her eyes were probably drawn to keep the focus on her peepers and not on her cheeks. She also sported a pair of long silver chandelier earrings.
On her wrist was a 78-carat rose cut diamond bracelet from Dena Kemp that reportedly costs $350,000. The crowd’s reaction was just as precious as they gave her a standing ovation for almost a minute for her powerful performance.
Carrie suffered from a serious fall at her home that injured her face and gave her a broken wrist.
She returned to the stage to celebrate with Keith Urban when he picked up the award for the "Vocal Event Of The Year" for The Fighter that featured Underwood.
The singer later went backstage to change outfits. She also posed for photos with her trophy, which showed off her full face and again, there was no sign of any injury.
