John Cena shares bitter quote after his heartbreaking split with fiancée Nikki Bella

The most dreadful moment for WWE fans finally arrived when WWE couples John Cena and Nikki Bella announced their painful split after six years together.

The power couple made the disheartening announcement on Sunday, just weeks short of their long-awaited wedding which was supposed to take place someday in May.

Two days after their breakup, Cena took to his Instagram to share some quotes about heartbreak. The wrestler posted quotes on his page attributed to Kwame Floyd. His post read:

‘It’s not what you go through that defines you; you can’t help that. It’s what to do after you’ve gone through it that really tests who you are’

Cena who isn’t much of talker didn’t come out about the breakup as much as his former partner did.

Her announcement was direct and very clear. Her statement which she posted on social media read,

‘After much contemplation and 6 years of being together Nikki Bella and John Cena announce today their decision to separate as a couple. While this decision was a difficult one, we continue to have a great deal of love and respect for one another. We ask that you respect our privacy during this time of our lives’

After their breathtaking engagement in April 2017 in front of millions of fans at Wrestlemania 33, the couple has been struggling to keep the fire burning.

Signs of their struggle became evident when a preview of the upcoming season three of Total Bella’s showed the couple engaging in a steamy argument.

Bella was seen angrily asking Cena if they really wanted to call the marriage of. The duo has not been in agreement on the issue of kids as Cena had strongly stated that he didn’t want kids in the earlier parts of their relationship.

We guess Nikki ignored the warning signs.
