Robbie Williams, 44, is known for his interesting array of tattoos, but he may have taken it all up a notch. The singer recently appeared to have a tattoo f his own face on his chest, and fans are sending mixed reactions to this recent addition of artwork.

The Angels singer has tributes to Ronnie Cobert and Sir Roger Moore on his body, but his smiling self-portrait seemed like a very different kind of homage. While his over 1 million Instagram fans were excited to his new addition, most were skeptical of whether it was real. One wrote: 'yeah sure you did this' before adding several laughing emojis to express their doubt. Another said: 'Hilarious! You should have sent the pic April 1st! Love your sense of humour, so northern.'

One did a little investigation and came up with this: 'Done enough perving on topless Robbie pics to know that this is an old pic so the tattoo is fake. He can tattoo his face to his forehead tho and would still be the hottest man alive. Plus two Robbies to look at, what's not to love?'

The singer is a father to daughter Theodora and son Charlton whom he shares with wife Ayda Field, 38. He recently admitted to overhauling his lifestyle after doctors noticed what looked like blood in his brain. He had to cancel two European tours while at it.

Speaking to News Corps, the singer said he was motivated to change his lifestyle after the events that led to the cancellation of his tour

'The health is good; really good. It takes an awful lot to change my lifestyle, to be scared into the right actions. What does it take to actually change? Oh, nearly dying, that will do it. The big plus point of last year to me was steering myself into the right behaviour and looking after myself so now it's yoga, meditation, pilates.'

What do you think of the tattoo? Let us know in comments.
