Inquisitr reported that the last time Natalie West was seen in that role was in season 8. She is Dan Conner’s stepmother on Roseanne.

Natalie West, 62, will feature in the upcoming episode ‘No Country for Old Women.’ She was Crystal Anderson Conner, which was Roseanne (Roseanne Barr) and Jackie’s (Laurie Metcalf) co-worker at Wellman Plastics.

The Futon Critic reported that West would be joined by fellow guest stars Estelle Parsons as Bev Harris, Sandra Bernhard as Nancy, Christopher Lloyd as Lou, and Ethan Cohen as Nick.

‘After Beverly gets kicked out of the nursing home, Roseanne and Jackie fight over who will take care of their mother. Meanwhile, Mark’s creative touch with building a birdhouse for Dan’s customer is more than Dan can handle, but Darlene defends her son.’

It wasn’t unclear as to how Crystal would fit into the episode. She was originally Roseanne’s high school best friend but she ended up marrying Dan’s father, Ed (Ned Beatty).

The marriage occurred in season 3 of the original series and it made her Roseanne’s stepmother-in-law. Crystal and Ed had two children together, little Ed and Angela.

They became Dan’s half-siblings. Currently, there was no word yet if Beatty planned to reprise his role as Ed on the reboot. Barr recently teased fans about the return of West’s character as well as some other fan-favorite guest stars that could return.

West’s IMDB page reported that the actress had appeared in 84 episodes of Roseanne. She wasn’t, however, seen as much after season 4.

Her final appearance as Crystal was in a one-off episode in season 8. West has spent her recent years working as a stage actress in theater productions.

Some of the productions she’s starred in include Abigail’s Party (2010) and the Butcher of Baraboo (2012). She’s also appeared in movies like Bushwhacked, Nate and Margaret, and more.

Roseanne airs on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. The ‘No Country for Old Women’ episode is scheduled for Tuesday, May 1, 2018.
