Melanie Griffith and Antonio Banderas may have separated about four years ago but they still remain good friends. Proof of which is when the actress shared a photo of the father and daughter. AmoMama gleaned info from Daily Mail.
In the Instagram photo, the Zorro actor, 57, cuddled up next to their daughter, Stella, 21. Antonio had his arm wrapped around his daughter as he looked slick wearing a blue bomber and orange shirt while Stella leaned her head on her dad and wore a ribbed sweater with notch neckline.
Stella is carving her own career as an actress.
Along with the photo, the 60-year-old blonde beauty wrote:
“Father daughter forever #familydinner.”
The Genius star and the Working Girl actress may have ended their 19-year-marriage almost four years ago but they have remained close. They continued to wish each other happy birthdays online and have always enjoyed time as a family with Stella.
The Lolita star comes from a talented family tree and has also created such. She is the daughter of famous Hitchcock actress Tippi Hedren.
Melanie and ex-husband Don Johnson are parents to 50 Shades starlet Dakota Johnson. She is also the mother of 32-year-old Alexander Bauer who is her son from ex-husband and actor Steven Bauer.
Being single has made the four-time married Melanie introspective. In 2016, she told People:
“I’m having a very introspective time right now. It’s an interesting time. It’s just sort of nice. My kids are all great. They’re beautiful people. I’m single, and lonely, and bored, and confused—but then at the same time, totally curious. It’s almost like I have to throw myself out of the nest.”
Melanie, who is also a former Broadway thespian, recently returned to the stage as the seductive Mrs. Robinson for a Laguna Playhouse production of The Graduate, which ran from February 21 - March 18 in Laguna Beach.
