Prince William was seen leaving St. Mary Hospital, and Kensington Palace's administration tweeted that he had to attend to Prince George and Princess Charlotte, who remained at home.
He returned to the hospital at 16:50 pm, with Prince George and Princess Charlotte in tow. All three wore shades of blue as they walked up the steps of the Lindo wing.
They only visited their mother and baby brother briefly, before returning to Kensington Palace, while the Duke stayed behind at the hospital.
According to Kensington Palace's Twitter account, the Duke and Duchess will return home later this evening, with their newborn son.
His name will only be announced in the coming days. The Sun reported that the name Arthur has odds of 7/4, while James had 5/1 and Philip 6/1.
