Wendy Williams slams Carrie Underwood for talking too much about her recent injury
AmoMama brings you news of potential beef brewing between Wendy Williams and Carrie Underwood. As Hollywood Life reports, the show host asks the singe to stop talking about her ‘shadow’ of a scar and start singing already.
Wendy Williams, 53, is tired of mincing her words. First, she called Shania Twain out for taking back her support of Donald Trump and then asked Carrie Underwood, 35, to stop talking about her ‘shadow’ of a scar already. Underwood was adamant that she went through drastic changes to her face after an injury last year and so she warned her fans to expect a changed her. After she came out of hiding, fans could not understand what the fuss was all about as they did not see the said scar. While there have been murmurs all around, one Williams is tired of hearing it all and wants the singer to go back to what we know her for: singing.
On April 23, the show host addressed the issue on the Wendy Williams show;
“She’s still talking about this? It’s so over! … I like her but she’s talking way too much about this. There is a scar when we really zoomed in, from the top lip it goes underneath her nose. Listen, I don’t even know if I would’ve noticed it. It looks like a shadow or something… Carrie Underwood, here’s your hug for the day, now get back to doing what you do — sing!”
The singer went under the radar last year after she fell at home and injured both her wrist and face. She said she needed 40-50 stitches to mend everything back in place. She opened up about the incidence at the Bobby Bones podcast. “I fell down… I was taking the dogs out and I just, I tripped. There was one step and I didn’t let go of the leashes… But, I went to catch myself and I just missed a step. If I had fallen anywhere else I would’ve been perfectly fine. But, there was one step that messed everything up.”
