Katie Holmes keeps a low profile in large floppy hat and shades after rare outing with Foxx

The actress goes on an incognito stroll just a couple of days after she was spotted on a dinner date with her unconfirmed beau.

Katie Holmes appeared to be laying low when she was spotted walking alone in New York City on Tuesday, just a couple of days after her dinner date with rumored beau Jamie Foxx.

The 39-year-old actress who wore a large-brimmed blue hat and a pair of dark sunglasses was noticeably keeping to herself as she covered up in a green turtleneck sweater with tan elbow patches.

In photos shared by the Daily Mail, her long slender legs were on full display as she wore a pair of tight fitting jeans to highlight them. She completed her look with a pair of light brown suede ankle boots and a matching leather handbag.

On Sunday, the ‘Dawson’s Creek’ alum shared a dinner table at Nobu with her still unconfirmed boyfriend Foxx. The couple who spent 90 minutes at the establishment reportedly left separately after.

The discreet pair has been notorious for remaining low key and they’ve never admitted to their relationship despite their public outings. A source reveals they’re determined to still keep things private because it works.

“This is what has worked for them and what they are comfortable with. They aren't a couple who is going to stroll down the street holding hands.”

Following her solo outing, Holmes celebrated her daughter Suri’s 12th birthday on Wednesday by sharing a black and white photo of her mini-me wearing a birthday crown while shyly looking away from the camera. In lieu of a birthday message, the proud mom simply filled her caption with a series of heart emojis.

Suri has always been by her mother’s side ever since the actress left Suri’s father, Tom Cruise, in 2012, after six years of marriage. And just recently, she was spotted hanging out on the set of Holmes’ latest project, Fox’s FBI drama formerly titled Mrs. Otis Regrets.

In the series currently being filmed in Chicago, Holmes plays FBI Special Agent Hazel Otis who finds her career on the line after her affair with a prominent general gets in the way of her investigation of a domestic terrorism threat and eventually shatters her life.

The show marks the actress’ return to television as a series regular since her days in ‘Dawson’s Creek’ which ended in 2003.
