Melania Trump sparkles in silver while Ivanka attends state dinner in a Rodarte dress
Melania and Ivanka Trump's gown were the highlights of the first state dinner of Trump administration's.
Ivanka, a mother of three children, joined her father President Donald Trump and his wife Melania Trump at a state dinner held at the White House in Washington on April 24, 2018, as reported by E News.
The event was thrown to honor the president of France, Emmanuel Macron, and his wife Brigitte Macron.
About 130 guests were invited, including Vice President Mike Pence, Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts, former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, Apple CEO Tim Cook and Former National Security Council spokesman Michael Anton.
The First Daughter arrived with her husband Jared Kushner wearing a polka dot Rodarte dress, which retails for upwards of $12,000.
The ruffled gown was made from pink tulle. It has black polka dots and floral decoration around the waist.
The famous design was previously worn by Millie Bobby Brown and Kirsten Dunst on the red carpet.
The First Lady also looked incredible in silver Chanel at the event. Her dress featured a sheer neckline and shimmery silver bodice.
During the French fashion house's Spring 2018 show, Melania's dress was featured as a jumpsuit.
Meanwhile, the First Lady of France sported a glamorous gown by Louis Vuitton. She looked stunning in a cream full-length gown with long sleeves and gold accessories.
As reported by Daily Mail, Donald Trump and Emmanuel Macron, who both wore black tuxedos, have toasted to continue the warm connections between America and France, which date to the American Revolution almost 250 years ago.
The current president of the United States told Macron that their "friendship grow even deeper."
Macron was the first world president honored with a state visit to the White House and he thanked Trump for that.
In his toast, he called the friendship between France and America unbreakable.
