Amid rumors of Ami’s cancer resurfacing, one source revealed the truth about her future on the show.
After revealing that the Discovery series Alaskan Bush People is set to return with its eighth season, Radar Online reported on the involvement of the Brown family matriarch Ami Brown in the show.
An anonymous source is said to have revealed that despite rumors of her health deteriorating again,-year-old Brown will continue to be an integral part of the series.
The insider confirmed that Brown’s health has improved significantly. The cancer survivor is reportedly yet to completely regain her strength, but she is excited to continue working on the show.
Regarding reports of Brown’s cancer resurfacing, the source stated that after she was diagnosed with cancer last year, she underwent rigorous treatment which has eliminated the cancer.
Brown’s journey to recovery has not been an easy one, as her health had been frail for several months, and the doctors had stated that she only had a 3% chance of survival.
The television star had given an interview while being seriously ill, emphasizing that she had not given up hope. Brown said that giving up and awaiting death was the easy choice, but she chose differently.
She also admitted that on a pessimistic note, those would have been her last days on earth. However, that only motivated her further to stay brave and positive.
Brown added that she found no solace in worrying about her illness or the odds of her survival. Instead, she upheld her faith in God and fought on.
Speaking of the advice that she would give other people, Brown shared that she would simply urge them to be happier.
She also mentioned that even in the face of hardship, one must overcome the desire to give up and carry on with their fight instead.
The show will feature all the key characters that were a part of it until the 7th season, including Billy, Matthew, Joshua, Gabe, Bear, Noah, Rain and Bird Brown.
