John Cena finally breaks silence on his split from Nikki Bella as he shares a heartbreaking message

AmoMama broke the story of Nikki Bella and John Cena breaking up months before their wedding and we have been looking forward to hearing from the two. Pop Culture reports that Cena has broken the silence on how he feels about the whole thing.

WWE Superstar John Cena was at CinemaCon which is currently being held at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, promoting his upcoming Transformers spinoff Bumblebee. Reporters had questions for the wrestler, most important of which was what happened to his relationship with Bella. Cena didn’t want to say too much to the reporters but he made his feelings for Bella known.

"There's no other way to say [it]. I love Nicole with all my heart, and that's that."

After the breakup, the wrestler posted a cryptic message on Twitter. "Hardship, loss, and humility are extremely difficult waters to navigate, but perseverance through them builds a strength to withstand anything life throws your way."

The couple sent what seemed like a joint statement through Bella’s Instagram page saying that the both of them had mutually agreed to call it quits.

"After much contemplation and 6 years of being together Nikki Bella and John Cena announced today their decision to separate as a couple. While this decision was a difficult one, we continue to have a great deal of love and respect for one another. We ask that you respect our privacy during this time in our lives."

They have avoided talking about their pain and the breakup, but Brie, Bella’s twin sister has been a bit forthcoming. She revealed to People that she and Cena had been texting and she was going to be there for him. “I want to be there for him as much as I’m there for my sister. And Nicole respects that. He will always be family. It’s like losing a family member. It’s really hard. John has been a part of our lives for six years.”

No one really knows the reason for the breakup, but cheating has been ruled out. Some think that Cena was too controlling and Bella couldn’t have any more of it.
