It has been reported by The Sun, that the artist who sings the famous track is the late Whitney Houston. The two are set to be married on May 19, 2018.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will not be having a dull and conservative wedding. This is quite evident with their first dance song choice which is Whitney Houston’s I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me).

The pair is said to want a 'fun and bouncy' playlist which they’ve organized with the help of friends and family. A number of other tracks from the 1980s are also expected to be featured on that day.

Daily Mail stated that the speculation surrounding the Houston track came after Markle revealed that it is her go-to 'happy song.' She shared this during her 2016 interview with Lifestyle Magazine.

For their live music, the couple will have a special guest, Elton John. He canceled two Las Vegas concerts to attend the Royal event at Windsor Castle.

‘They want it to be fun and reflective of themselves as a couple and of their family and friends that will be there. It will still very much be a royal wedding – just not a traditional one.’

The Royal Family has confirmed that the American actress's father would walk her down the aisle on her wedding day. It’s been reported that Markle would use couturiers Ralph & Russo to make the first of two gowns.
