Live! With Kelly and Ryan star Kelly Ripa has always spoken about how important her family and her home are to her.

Closer Weekly’s recent sneak peek into the place that Ripa calls home revealed that it was nothing short of palatial.

Ripa and her husband Mark Consuelos, both 47, live with their children in a spacious multi-storeyed house on the Upper Street Side of Manhattan.

20-year-old Michael, the eldest son of the power couple, recently moved away to attend college, while his 16-year-old sister Lola Grace and 15-year-old Joaquin Antonio live with Ripa and Consuelos.

The centrally located home was purchased by the television personalities in 2013 when the net worth was approximately $27 million.

Reported as the second most expensive house to be sold in New York City that year, it was previously owned by renowned fashion designer Luca Orlandi and his wife.

Ripa and Consuelos bought the 5-storeyed house after deciding to sell their previous apartment on SoHo street since the neighborhood was getting too noisy and overpopulated.

Their current home has 5 bedrooms, and 6 bathrooms, apart from an open terrace on the rooftop. Most of the videos and pictures shared by Ripa from her home are shot from this rooftop terrace.

What makes the apartment truly exquisite are the 2 fireplaces and an in-house elevator for the convenience of family members and guests.

The luxurious house was originally built in 1882 and has become the perfect place for family activities like playing in the garden, chasing butterflies and pruning shrubs.

Ripa and Consuelos, who fell in love on the set of the hit series All My Children have also spent numerous romantic dates and dinners on the rooftop, which is evident from the photos they have shared on social media.
