Melanie Griffith shares a rare photo of her ex Antonio Banderas with daughter Stella

Melanie Griffith and Antonio Banderas are a great example of how parenting should be after divorce. Despite their separation, the two were seen out with their daughter.

Griffith even went as far as sharing an image of the father-and-daughter duo. The actors divorced in 2015 according to ET and Griffith hasn’t dated much since.

There’s no love lost between Griffith, 60, and Banderas even though they aren’t together anymore. The pair had some quality time with their daughter recently.

Stella Banderas is now all grown up at 21 years old. Her mother took to Instagram on Monday to share an image of her daughter cuddling up to her father.

At the time, the trio was enjoying a family dinner together. Griffith captioned the image, ‘Father daughter forever… #familydinner.’

The two actors were married from 1996 to 2015. They didn’t let the divorce sour their relationship and they remained friends despite it.

In 2016, Griffith had confessed that she would always love her ‘ruggedly handsome ex-husband.’ She stated this in a birthday post in that year.

In an interview with Porter magazine in April 2017, the actress admitted that going back into the dating scene was a struggle. She shared that she was now shy with men.

“I haven’t met anyone in the almost two years [Antonio and I] have been divorced," she added. She also admitted that she no longer went on dates as nobody had asked her.

Griffith confessed that she only went out with her girlfriends. In the meantime, Banderas will play an iconic late artist, Pablo Picasso.

He will star as the artist in season two of National Geographic’s Genius: Picasso. The show will be starting off with a two-part premiere on April 24, 2018.
