Billy Stamos was born on April 10, 2018. The Instagram image of the little boy was shared on May 10, 2018, and it isn’t the first image of Billy.

John Stamos, 54, showed off his newborn son to his Full House costars Bob Saget, 61, and Lori Loughlin. In the photo, Billy has his back turned toward the camera.

He’s wearing a black onesie that reads ‘Jesse and the Rippers,’ a reference to the band that Stamos’ character, Jesse, plays in. The image was captioned, ‘The Tin Man, Dorothy and The Scarecrow say hi to the cutest of Munchkins. #BillyandtheRippers.’

Saget shared the same photo on his Instagram. Caitlin McHugh, Stamos’ wife, welcomed Billy in Los Angeles and his full name is William Christopher Stamos after the actor’s late father.

Six days later, the actor shared a black and white photo of Billy lying on his chest. He wrote in that post that his best part would now always be his wife and son.

‘~ So much love John. Most beautiful boy and Mommy & Daddy ever. So proud to be a new Uncle/Tin Man, my brother.’

In late April he shared that being a father had changed his life. He revealed that he cried a lot and that being a father was the most beautiful thing that he had waited so long for.

The actor joked that his son had his wife’s legs when he was asked who Billy looked like. Stamos and his wife got engaged at Disneyland in October 2017.

This was just two months before they announced their pregnancy news. The couple had been dating for two and a half years at the time.

They got married and in February 2018, they had their honeymoon at Disney World. On Air with Ryan Seacrest, he told Seacrest that he was excited about naming his son after his “hero” father.

Stamos shared that he hoped to live up to what his father had done. He revealed that his father had always been bigger than life to him and he was happy to honor him with his son.

“I’m starting to cry right now, Ryan, I’m so emotional,” the star said to the host at the time.
