All her efforts paid off, and Pink invited her to the stage on May 12. The young singer performed a segment of the song Perfect, leaving the audience and as well as 38-year-old Pink speechless.

Victoria is an aspiring musician from Vancouver, and she used social media to get the world's attention. She introduced herself to Pink on Twitter and said she 'really wants to sing' at her Beautiful Trauma Tour.

She created her own hashtag for the campaign, VicAndPink, and even roped in her family to help spread the world. Her brothers recorded an adorable video about Victoria, while her mother set up a YouTube channel.

As reported by Inspire More, Victoria did everything in her power to get recognition. Her message was spread further when Jeff O'Neill shared her plight on air.

In a tweet to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Victoria again expressed her desire to sing on stage with her idol. She also added how proud she was to 'host Pink in awesome Canada.'

As momentum built, fellow Canadian singer Sarah McLachlan also shared Victoria's tweet, urging Pink to 'check her out' and make her dream come true.

When the day finally arrived, Victoria wasn't sure if her efforts would pay off. But halfway through the concert Pink called Victoria down to the stage and offered her the microphone.

After the show, Victoria shared the clip of her performance to Twitter. Pink can repeatedly be heard saying 'wow' during the performance.

Part of the lyrics to Perfect is 'you are perfect to me.' As Victoria sang that line, Pink gestured that the young singer was indeed perfect to her. Pink also hugged her afterward and said she truly was amazing.

Pink's Beautiful Trauma Tour started in March of this year and will end in May 2019. She is scheduled to appear in Oakland, Fresno, Ontario, and Las Vegas. A complete list can be viewed here.
