Rihanna gave a perfect response when asked if she'll attend the Royal wedding
During a quick interview, Rihanna made it obvious that she did not even have any idea when the royal wedding would be.
An Access reporter asked Rihanna if she was invited to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding. The singer gave an honest and perfect response as she addressed it.
She asked the interviewer if the wedding was coming up soon. The reporter went on to say, at the time, that it was in a week.
Rihanna made it clear that she was oblivious regarding the royal wedding updates. She even made a joke and said that she needed to “stay on the Internet more.”
The reporter then asked if she was planning on attending the wedding. Rihanna was puzzled by the question and asked why the Access reporter thought that she was invited.
The interviewer pointed out that she had met Prince Harry in 2016. The singer was clearly amused and asked the reporter, “Okay, you met me. You think you’re coming to my wedding? Am I coming to yours?”
Prince Harry and Rihanna first crossed paths when he paid a Royal visit in Barbados, where Rihanna was born and raised, during the country’s 50th anniversary of independence in November 2016.
They officially met at the Toast to the Nation in Bridgetown. On the same day, Rihanna sang the national anthem at a special concert while Prince Harry was tasked to unveil a national monument.
As for the royal wedding, it will happen at noon on May 19, 2018, at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle.
The service will be conducted by the Dean of Windsor, The Rt Revd. David Conner. For the wedding ceremonies, The Most Revd. and Rt Hon. Justin Welby, Archbishop of Canterbury will be the ones who will officiate, according to the official site of the Royal Wedding 2018.
Following the service, the couple will be roaming around Windsor in a carriage.
