Kristen Stewart celebrates her girlfriend's 28th birthday during a romantic dinner date

Photos from Stella Maxwell’s intimate birthday celebration with her girlfriend reveal the extent of their relationship, as they showered each other with affection during their romantic dinner date.

In the midst of her busy schedule at the Cannes Film Festival, Kristen Stewart made sure she was there for her girlfriend Stella Maxwell who turned 28 that weekend.

Spotted on an intimate date at Fred L'escalier restaurant, the couple displayed their affection for each other as they were photographed smooching and whispering sweet nothings outside the luxurious venue.

The 27-year-old actress had her hand around the Victoria’s Secret angel whose crop top and short blazer exposed her skin where Kristen’s hand rested. At one point the actress was also seen gently touching Stella’s elbow as they leaned closely to each other.

The affectionate couple whose romance officially went public early last year was joined by models Elsa Hosk and Andreja Pejic but that didn’t keep them from sneaking away for some private moments to make the most of their time together. Though the two are in Cannes for the annual festival, they each had separate duties to fulfill, Kristen as a jury member and Stella gracing the red carpet with her presence. In fact, the couple attended events separately, disappointing photographers who thought they’d be gracing the red carpet together. According to the Daily Mail, the pair would squeeze in cozy lunch dates into their schedules just to get to spend time with each other.

Kristen and Stella have been a steady couple ever since they were photographed smooching at the back of a cab in Milan early last year. This was months after they were first romantically linked in 2016. Now stronger than ever, the ‘Twilight’ star appears to be totally smitten with the established lingerie model who first graced the Victoria’s Secret catwalk in 2015. And by the looks of their recent sightings, their romance is destined to flourish even more.
