Roseanne Barr is back on television as the star of her revival series 'Roseanne'. And the actress did not waste any time promoting her latest project by attending the Disney, ABC, and Freeform Upfront Presentation in New York City last Tuesday.

The actress, 65, joined her co-stars Laurie Metcalf and John Goodman in the red carpet, posing and smiling for photos.

Roseanne looked delighted to be on the red carpet again, donning a checkered blazer, jeans, and a pair of strappy heels.

The controversial star accessorized her look with dangling earrings and a long gold chain necklace.

Laurie joined Roseanne in a few photos, showing off her chic style in a mustard yellow dress that was belted at the waste.

She complemented her dress with a pair of bright blue heels, and swept her hair back to avoid them from hitting her face.

As previously reported on Daily Mail, the three actors have reunited to continue playing their original roles in the revival of 'Roseanne', two decades after the original series ended in 1997.

Since it premiered in March 27, the show has been a huge hit. Its season debut garnered a surprising 18.44 million viewers.

While 'Roseanne' is extremely popular among viewers, the show is considered to be controversial. To incorporate Barr's real-life injury into the show, they edited the storyline.

In real life, Roseanne suffered a knee injury, which they have incorporated on the show. However, the plot thickens and gets a tad bit darker when it starts tackling issues on addiction, something that is considered to be a sensitive topic by many viewers.

After the end of her hit series in 1997, Roseanne Barr took a pretty long hiatus before returning on television. It seems that her return has been successful, especially given the number of viewers her show gets on a regular basis.
