All the major networks revealed which shows would be renewed, but even if your favorite television series made the cut, it doesn't mean that the lead actor will remain with the show.

As reported by Pop Culture, some of the changes might be due to 'creative moves' on the showrunners' part, while in other instances, actors chose to move on to other projects.

One of the most shocking exists this season, was Pauley Perrette's departure from NCIS. She portrayed Abby Scuito for sixteen years, and fans were devasted when she left.

Another NCIS fan-favorite was Duane Henry in the role of Clayton Reeves. His exit was a complete surprise and fans were not prepared for his death.

Not to be left behind, Grey's Anatomy announced that two leading roles would be written out of the show: Jessica Capshaw as Arizona Robbins and Sarah Drew as April Kepner.

On Blue Bloods, beloved character DA Monica Graham was assassinated in My Aim Is True, thus ending actor Tamara Tunie's time on the show.

An actor who isn't even sure about his continued involvement in a show is Clayne Crawford who portrays Martin Riggs in the Lethal Weapon remake.

Tension has been building on set between Crawford and co-star Damon Wayans, who said in a tweet that Crawford 'struck fear in the cast and crew,' and 'relished in making [females] cry.'

Wayans' has since deactivated his Twitter account. The Lethal Weapon fanbase is divided between those who support Wayans and those who side with Crawford.

In Chicago Fire, Monica Raymund who portrayed Gabriela Dawson will be leaving the show, while Paul Blackthorne from CW's Arrow said farewell as character Quentin Lance.

Some of the canceled shows include Deception, Designated Survivor, Inhumans, The Middle, Quantico, Superior Donuts, The Last Man on Eart, The Mick and Scorpion.
