Release date of 'The Ranch' Part 5 revealed
Season three of The Ranch will continue next month. Netflix released the date for the series with a hint of what to expect for part 5.
According to Variety, the series will be available for streaming on June 15, 2018. There will also be a recurring star that will fill in the gap for another one who Netflix let go last year.
The Ranch stars Ashton Kutcher, Debra Winger and Sam Elliott will be back. According to Variety, the show will see Dax Shepard appear as a recurring guest star during the second half of the show's 20-episode third season.
The series has traditionally dropped 10-episode batches with each one being part of a larger season. Part two of season two premiered in December 2017, which was part four of the entire show.
Shepard was brought in to help balance the show after Danny Masterson was let go from the series last year in December. He was accused of sexual assault by multiple women.
Masterson has denied the allegations brought up against him. Variety reported that a Netflix spokesperson had said at the time that “As a result of ongoing discussions, Netflix and the producers have written Danny Masterson out of ‘The Ranch.'”
‘The Bennett boys face a hitch in their plan to buy the Peterson ranch. Meanwhile, Beau tries to take it easy after his hospital stay.’

It was reported that production would resume in early 2018 without him. Masterson would not be expected to appear in any episodes released after December 15, 2018.
Despite this, Shepard's arrival during the second half of the season would not be as a replacement. The actor has not signed on as a series regular.
His future on The Ranch depended on the success of the Fox comedy pilot Bless This Mess. In it, Shepard stars alongside Lake Bell.
On The Ranch, he will star as Luke Matthews. Matthews will be a former soldier who will come to Garrison with some history concerning the Iron River Ranch.
He will meet the Bennetts and immediately he will bond with Colt (Kutcher) and Beau (Elliott). However, his past has a way of catching up with him.
